About the "Albees" 

Edward Ablee has taught playwrighting and play production workshops at the University of Houston since 1989. Each fall, he selects five or six plays for development from hundreds of submissions nationwide, personally shepherding each through rewrites, rehearsals and eventually full production at the University of Houston or Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston. Albee students have moved on to all aspects of the professional theater.
